Imola Porcelain Façade System

DURABLE, STRONG & LIGHTWEIGHT

The system recreates the visualization of natural stone or finished concrete panels without excess weight and overly robust carrying systems. At under 1” thickness the entire system can be under 6 lbs. per square foot, but without any sacrifice on durability or strength.

ENGINEERED PORCELAIN

The engineered porcelain panels that Imola brings into your world performs similarly to granite when tested for impact, water absorption and ability to withstand thermal change.

IN-FIELD FLEXIBILITY

In addition, the systems offer in-field flexibility to adjust to variable building conditions. Most of our systems come pre-cut and pre-drilled for easy installation with some panels being used to make necessary adjustments.

INSTALLATION

CONCEALED FASTENING SYSTEM

The concealed system involves a processing of the tiles that enables it to be fastened to the structure with elements not visible from the outside.

VISIBLE FASTENING SYSTEM

‘The visible’ system provides support for the ceramic porcelain slabs and the plugs that can be colored according to the color scheme of the tiles.

The use of porcelain stoneware on walls – as foreseen under regulation UNI EN 14411:2016 and ISO 13006:2018 – guarantees the following 12 advantages

-Highly resistant to sudden changes in temperature
-Extremely low water absorption (≤ 0,5%)
-Highly resistant to freezing (no damage)
-Low linear heat expansion (≤ 6,7×10-6K)
-Insignificant moisture expansion
-Non-flammable (class A1)
-Colors resistant to sunlight and aging
-Stain and smog resistant
-Resistant to atmospheric agents
